The best lash glue is the one that matches your speed, your room and your client. After lashing and supplying lash artists since 2014, I can tell you there is no single glue that suits everyone, and that is fine. What matters is choosing the one that suits you.
The quick answer
| If you are... | Start with |
|---|---|
| New to lashing, or placing your first volume sets | Pearl Black |
| Lashing daily and want speed with a long hold | Intense Black |
| Experienced and working very fast | Fierce Black |
| Working with colour or brown lashes | Fierce Clear |
| Working with more sensitive clients | Fierce Clear |
Three things decide which glue is right
Your speed. The cure time has to match how quickly you place each lash. Too fast and it sets before the lash is in place. Too slow and the bond is weak.
Your room. Lash glue cures by reacting with moisture in the air. Higher humidity cures faster, lower humidity slower, and warmth speeds it up. Heating, a warm summer studio and an open window can all change your room, so check it with a hygrometer and check again as the seasons change.
Your client. Some clients are more sensitive. For them, we suggest Fierce Clear, a clear carbon-black-free formula. All four of our glues are low-fume and latex-free. We always recommend a patch test at least 24 hours before the appointment.

| Intense Black | 1 to 2 sec | Speed with a long hold; cooler rooms | 40 to 60% | 19 to 23°C | Up to 6 to 7 weeks |
| Fierce Clear | 1 to 2 sec | Coloured and brown lashes; more sensitive clients | 45 to 65% | 20 to 25°C | Up to 6 to 7 weeks |
| Pearl Black | 1 to 3 sec | Newer artists, first volume sets, warm and humid rooms | 50 to 70% | 20 to 28°C | Up to 7 weeks |
*Retention depends on correct use, prep and aftercare.
Shake it, store it, date it
- Shake your glue with the lid on for about 10 seconds before use. Pearl Black is slightly thicker, so give it about 20 seconds.
- Unopened, glue keeps for up to 6 months. Once opened, use it within 2 months. Write the date you open it on the bottle.
- Store it upright in a cool, dry, airtight container with silica gel.
- Replace your glue drop about every 20 to 30 minutes, and sooner in humid rooms.
