Frequently Asked Questions

Our adhesives have a 6-month shelf life from the date of manufacture. Once opened, use within 1–2 months depending on usage, storage and working conditions. We recommend noting the date you open each bottle so you can track its lifespan accurately.

We advise against stocking up on large quantities — even during a sale. If you purchase more than you can use within 1–2 months of opening, the adhesive may degrade before it can be used effectively.

We recommend our Fierce Clear adhesive for sensitive clients. As a clear, carbon-black-free formula, it is a gentler option for reactive individuals. We always recommend performing a patch test at least 24 hours before treatment.

Store all adhesives upright in a cool, dry, airtight container with silica gel — both before and after opening. Once opened, use within 1–2 months.

  • Keep away from direct sunlight, heat and open flames
  • Clean the nozzle after each use with a lint-free wipe — never use cotton products (cotton buds, tissue or cotton pads) as these cause an exothermic reaction with the adhesive
  • Secure the lid tightly after every use to minimise moisture exposure
  • Replace your glue drop as the consistency begins to change

We stock a dedicated Adhesive Storage Container to help keep your glue in perfect condition between uses.

The right adhesive depends on your experience level, working speed and environment:

  • Beginners or high-humidity environments: Pearl Black — 1–3 second dry time, forgiving and great for perfecting placement
  • Experienced artists who work quickly: Fierce Black — 0.5–1 second dry time, exceptional retention
  • Sensitive clients: Fierce Clear — carbon-black-free, gentler formula

We stock trial sizes so you can test before committing to a full bottle. Need a personal recommendation? Email us at support@lashheaven.co.uk.

A blocked nozzle is usually caused by improper storage or cleaning. Here's how to prevent and resolve it:

  • Always store bottles upright — this prevents adhesive from pooling at the nozzle
  • Shake the bottle for approximately 10 seconds before use with the lid on
  • Wipe the nozzle with a lint-free wipe after each use — never use cotton products
  • Do not use a needle to push blocked adhesive back into the bottle — this forces residue inward and worsens clogging

Replacement nozzles and lids are available here.

All of our lashes — including those labelled Mink — are made from high-quality synthetic PBT fibres sourced from Korea. No real fur is ever used. We are firmly against animal testing and cruelty. Our lashes are soft, lightweight and hypoallergenic.

We stock four main lash extension ranges:

  • Divine Silk — soft and dark with a semi-gloss finish. Our most popular all-round lash
  • Intense Silk — dark matte finish, very fluffy. Ideal for dramatic volume looks
  • PRO — ultra-soft with minimal tape. A favourite among experienced artists
  • Noir — our darkest lash for maximum impact

Each collection is available in mixed and individual lengths. Do not mix collections across curls, but you can move within a collection (e.g. C to CC, or CC to D).

It depends on the look you and your client are after:

  • Natural / mascara look: Divine Silk 0.12 or 0.15 in C curl
  • Dramatic / volume look: Intense Silk, Noir or PRO in CC or D curl

All ranges are available in mixed lengths so you can trial different looks before purchasing individual trays. Our most popular curls are C, CC and D — available across all collections.

Yes. All of our products are vegan and cruelty free. We are firmly against animal testing and cruelty in all forms.

This is a decision that should be made jointly by the lash technician and client, with full awareness of the potential risks. While a lash reaction itself is unlikely to harm the baby, the client would be unable to take most medications used to manage a reaction during pregnancy. A professional lash artist should assess each case individually and ensure the client understands and accepts the risks before proceeding.

Yes — we have a Lash Heaven salon offering professional lash treatments, and a warehouse where lash artists can browse and purchase supplies in person. Find us at 116 Victoria Road, Ruislip Manor, HA4 0AL. Free parking is available, and we are minutes from Ruislip Manor station (Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines).

We recommend that all new clients undergo a patch test at least 24 hours before their appointment. In cases where a client chooses to proceed without a patch test, they must sign a disclaimer confirming they accept full responsibility for any reaction. For tint treatments, a patch test is always required.
