FAQ

Products

Our adhesives have a 6 month shelf life from the moment they are manufactured. Once opened, your glue will be good for 1-2 months depending on usage, aftercare and storage. We recommend noting the date upon opening so you can keep an accurate recording of when to stop using the product.

We find that our clear glues (Encore/Fierce) are best for sensitive clients as these do not contain the ingredient Carbon Black. However, we always recommend a patch test at least 24 hours before treatment to eliminate any potential reactions.

We do not advise stocking up on large quantities of glues. This is because glues have a shelf life and if you purchase too many glues at once, you will not be able to use them within the recommended period. We recommend you only purchase glues that you intend to use within the next 1-2 months and make sure you store them appropriately. (Please see FAQ below, What’s the best way to store my adhesive?)

Unopened bottles: Store in a cool, dry place inside of an air-tight container with silica standing up vertically.

Opened bottles: Store in a cool, dry place inside of an air-tight container with silica standing up vertically and use within 2 months.

Ensure adhesives are stored in a controlled environment at all times.

Avoid direct sunlight, heat and open flames.

Use lint-free wipes or a synthetic makeup sponge to keep nozzle squeaky clean, free from glue residue. Never allow adhesive to come in contact with cotton products such as Q-tips, paper towels, tissues, cotton rounds, etc.

Secure lid tightly to reduce moisture exposure and maintain performance.

Replace glue drop as consistency begins to change.

Our fastest glues would be Fierce Black and Intense Black with a 1 second drying time, closely followed by our Pearl and Clear glues, which have a drying time of 1-2 seconds. Our slowest drying glue is Encore Black with a drying time of 2-3 seconds.

We recommend our Encore adhesives for beginners as these have the slowest drying time of 2-3 seconds. This is perfect for technicians who are new at lashing and are still developing their techniques.

This depends on how long you have been lashing, how much experience you have, and how quickly you work. We do stock smaller versions of our glues so that lash technicians are able to trial and test the adhesives before committing to a larger bottle. A clogged nozzle on your adhesive can easily be avoided if you store and look after your glue in the correct way. Below are some great tips to help you keep your adhesive working to its optimal level.

– ALWAYS ensure your glue is stored in an upright position, this will help keep the nozzle clear of any glue build up. Our Adhesive Container is a perfect solution for as you can keep the container standing up, whilst also keeping air and moisture out.

• Shake the glue bottle for approximately 10 seconds before use with the lid tightly closed.

• If there is any adhesive around the nozzle, use a lint free wipe to get rid of any excess. We always pop a complimentary lint free wipe in with any glues purchased.

• Secure the lid properly and stand the bottle upright, keep in a cool area away from direct sunlight.

Should your nozzle become blocked do not use a needle to push any hardened glue, as this will force it into the bottle and will create clogging again.

Do NOT use any cotton buds or fibre materials as this will have a chemical reaction with the glue. The fibres from cotton can start to let off a ‘white smoke’ when it comes into contact with the glue. This is called an exothermic reaction. When you clean your nozzle with a cotton bud/pad, tiny fibres will be left behind. Over time, this will eventually melt away the plastic on the nozzle and over time will weaken and snap.

We do sell separate lids and nozzles here.

All of our lashes including Mink are made of high quality synthetic PBT fibres sourced from Korea. NO REAL FUR is ever used. We are totally against animal testing/cruelty. Our lashes are soft and hypoallergenic.

We currently stock Divine Silk, Intense Silk, PRO and Noir. The Divine and Intense Silks are two of our most popular lashes but they do have their differences. Our Intense Silk lashes have a dark matte effect and are very fluffy. Our Divine Silk range is soft and dark but has a semi gloss finish therefore are shinier in appearance. The PRO is super soft with minimum sticky tape and Noir is our darkest lashes. Do not mix our collections for curls, but you can move within the collections from C to CC or CC to D.

It depends on preference and what your client is looking for. Our bestsellers for classic lashes are Divine Silk 0.12 and 0.15 as these create a very natural mascara like look. Our Divine, Intense, Noir and Pro range also work very well for a dramatic, volume look. All of our lashes are available in mixed lengths so that you can try them out and create multiple looks. Alternatively, we also sell individual lengths if you already know which ones work best for you. Our most popular curls are C,CC and D. We offer these curls in all of our lash extension ranges.

If you have bought something e.g. lashes/tweezers and you no longer require them, we do have a 14 day cooling off period where you can exchange the items or request a refund. If you have an item you are not happy with or it appears faulty, please contact us on support@lashheaven.co.uk where you can directly speak to one of our customer service representatives. Yes! We are completely against animal cruelty and testing therefore all of our products are vegan and cruelty free.

This is something that the lash technician and client should decide together as there could be potential risks for a reaction. Although, a lash reaction itself will not cause harm to the baby. However, the client would not be able to take any of the medications needed to subside side effects as certain medicines could potentially cause harm to the pregnancy. Depending on the client, a professional lash artist would need to assess and ensure the application can be performed safely and comfortable and client aware of all the risks.

We have a Lash Heaven Salon where regular clients enjoy state of the art lash treatments. We also have a warehouse where lash artists can purchase and pick up our luxury lash supplies in person. You can find us at 116 Victoria Road, Ruislip Manor HA4 0AL. Free parking and minutes away from Met line and Picadilly line (Ruislip Manor Station).

We recommend that any new clients undergo a patch test at least 24 hours before their appointment to ensure there are no complications or reactions. In rare cases, if a customer is happy to go ahead and have a lash treatment completed without a patch test, they must sign a disclaimer form stating they are happy to do so and take full responsibility should they have a reaction. With tints we will always ensure that the customer has a patch test behind the ears for health and safety reasons.
