As a master lash artist, international competition judge, educator, and multi-business entrepreneur, Sylvia is on a mission to empower other artists — especially women and mothers — to pursue a career that’s bold, beautiful, and fulfilling on every level.

✨ From Corporate Life to a Soul-Led Career

After completing four years of university studies and securing roles with top financial institutions in London, Sylvia was on the traditional “success” path — until life pulled her in a different direction.

As a new mother of two, she began to feel the strain of long commutes, demanding hours, and too little time with her family. She longed for something more aligned, more flexible — and more meaningful.

One spontaneous decision to take a one-day lash course changed everything. That night, she literally dreamt of lashes. And just like that, the spark was lit.

"I didn't just want a new job... I wanted purpose. I needed to be present for my children, and still build something that mattered to me."

With little support and many raised eyebrows from friends and family, Sylvia made what others saw as a “risky” move: she left her corporate banking career behind and followed her intuition into the lash industry — with no guarantee and no plan B.

Passion, Practice, and a Purpose-Driven Brand

Just one year after starting her lash journey, Sylvia entered her first international lash competition — and won.

In 2015, she founded Lash Heaven to solve a gap she had experienced personally: lash artists needed high-quality products that were tested by real artists, not just chemists. Products that worked in all conditions, for all eye shapes, and that artists could truly rely on.

With every adhesive, lash tray, and tool she curated, she asked: “Would I trust this on my own client?”
If the answer wasn’t a full yes, it didn’t make the cut.

From Fierce Black glue to rainbow and ombré lash trays, Lash Heaven became a name artists whispered about — then recommended — then relied on.

A Multi-Passionate Entrepreneur & Mother

What makes Sylvia’s story even more inspiring is her ability to stay true to her role as a mother, while building not just one, but multiple businesses.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, while others paused, she expanded — launching new ventures in property and beautyindustries, all while continuing to grow Lash Heaven’s global footprint.

Today, Sylvia remains fully hands-on with the Lash Heaven brand — and continues lashing select clients at the Lash Heaven HQ in Ruislip, London.
