CEO, Creator, Dancer: The Woman Behind Lash Heaven

CEO, Creator, Dancer: The Woman Behind Lash Heaven

I never set out to simply sell lash products. In the beginning, my goal was to offer high-quality supplies alongside my lash salon — a way to support local lash artists with products they could trust. But as time went on, especially after Covid, something deeper began to take shape. I felt called to build something more meaningful — a brand that empowers women, uplifts lash artists, and reflects the beauty, freedom, and sense of purpose that lives within us all.

I’m the founder and CEO of Lash Heaven, but more than that, I’m a woman on a journey — of building a business, raising a family, loving deeply, and learning to show up for myself as fiercely as I do for others.

Leading with Heart, Not Ego

Leadership, for me, isn’t about titles or power — it’s about presence, integrity, and vision. Every product we launch, every post we share, and every collaborator we bring  is rooted in something deeper than sales: genuine connection.

At Lash Heaven HQ, I’m hands-on. I lead with intuition and clarity, but also softness. I believe in listening to my team, empowering them to take ownership, and creating a culture where creativity and kindness thrive. This isn’t just a business — it’s a community. And I’m proud of how we show up for our customers and each other every single day.

Showing Up — As a Woman, Mum, Partner, and Creator

Running a business is one thing. Doing it while raising children, supporting a spouse, nurturing clients, and trying to stay connected to your own soul? That’s a whole different kind of dance.

I’ve learned that success doesn’t come from hustle alone. It comes from balance — from learning when to lead and when to soften. From making time for your kids even after a long day of managing all your responsibilities. From supporting your partner while still holding space for your own dreams. It’s not always easy — but it’s deeply fulfilling.

Being a present mum is one of the things I’m proudest of. My children inspire me to be better, every day. They remind me that legacy isn’t just what we build — it’s how we love.

Why I Dance

In the midst of all this, I found something unexpected: dance.

Dance became my escape. Not to run away — but to come home to myself. In dance, I don’t have to explain, achieve, or impress. I just get to be. To move. To feel. To express what words can't.

It’s in those quiet beats and fiery steps that I remember who I am underneath the labels. That woman? She’s sensual. Wild. Free. She’s still there — and dance brings her back to life.

From Passion Project to Empowered Creation: The Music Video

When I was first invited to be part of a small music video project, I said yes casually — not thinking too much about it. But as the creative process unfolded, something deeper stirred in me. I felt a powerful pull to go all in — not just for fun, but because I recognised an opportunity to express a part of myself I’d kept tucked away. Not the CEO, not the lash artist, not the mother — but the woman within who wanted to feel fully alive again. The part of me ready to be seen, without fear.

What began as a personal creative project evolved into something much bigger — it became part of Lash Heaven’s story. The “Take Me” video, created with the soulful sounds of @mirokikola.dj and @kizomba_london_eissa, became a visual expression of what Lash Heaven is really about:

Feminine freedom. Emotional expression. Beauty with purpose.

This is more than a brand video — it’s an invitation. For every woman who’s ever lost herself in the roles she plays, to remember: you are art, too. You deserve to move, feel, breathe, and create without asking for permission.

Self-Development is Self-Respect

Behind the scenes, I’ve done — and continue to do — the deep work. Therapy. Coaching. Inner child healing. Hormonal balance. Business mentorship. All of it. Because you can’t pour into others if your own cup is dry.

Whether I’m leading a team, creating content, or planning new launches, I know that the real work starts inside. Personal development isn’t a luxury. It’s a necessity. For any woman who wants to lead from her heart and leave a legacy that lasts.

Final Words

To every lash artist, mother, businesswoman, or creative soul reading this:
You don’t have to choose between power and softness, leadership and sensuality, motherhood and ambition. You get to be all of it.

You are allowed to be seen. To be heard. To take up space.

That’s the energy behind Lash Heaven.
That’s the woman behind the brand.
And that’s the message I hope resonates through every lash we fan, every post we share, and every soul we touch.

With love,
Sylvia Liu
