Awakening: the weekend that rewrote my heart

I wasn’t sure I would share this. Some experiences feel sacred. But in a world that can feel loud with fear, division, scrolling and shock, I want to offer a different story—one of healing, community and coming home to myself.

Before this gathering

In 2021 I moved through a dark night of the soul. Since then I’ve sat in many women’s spaces and retreats—Isla Mujeres (Mexico), North Carolina (US), Costa Rica, Portugal and a festival with 8,000 souls. With or without plant medicine, each space was its own kind of medicine. Each gave my spirit exactly what it needed at the time.

What made this one different

Last week I entered a field of almost 400 conscious humans—from across Europe, the US, Ecuador, New Zealand, Bali and more. All colours, all stories. The atmosphere was clean, respectful and deeply reverent. Ego in the back seat. Love and boundaries at the front.

I cried (a lot—release). I watched men cry (because they felt safe). I stepped out of my comfort zone again and again. I had an out-of-body experience and, in a way that’s hard to put into words, I birthed myself—a softer, wilder, wiser version. A goddess in my own skin.

The workshops were intense—sometimes painful, always alive: emotional, exciting, passionate, rewarding. I felt unity like I’ve never felt before; a family of conscious people holding each other in truth. And I realised: this is the medicine our world needs—across countries, cultures and communities.

Why I’m sharing this

Most days our phones feed us violence, outrage and duality. It’s easy to forget how powerful we are when we gather with intention. This weekend reminded me what’s possible when people agree to respect, consent and care.

Integration has been big for me—bigger than after any festival or retreat. I’m letting it move through slowly, with gratitude. And I’m ready to step more fully into my purpose: to serve the women who feel called to walk with me.

What I learned (and am keeping)

• Safety is sacred. Real transformation happens when boundaries are clear and honoured.

• Tears are medicine. Release makes space for truth.

• Community heals what isolation can’t. We remember who we are in loving mirrors.

• The body knows. Breath, movement and stillness reconnect us to inner wisdom.

• Ego can relax. When the room is held with respect, the heart can lead.
