5 Minute Customer Service

lash artist customer service

Now is the perfect time to connect with your lash clients!

Why, you wonder? Although the lockdown is still underway, your clients are starting to make a mental list of what they’ll do first when they’re out of isolation. (Aren't you?) Let's make sure that A LASH APPOINTMENT is high on that list.

You want a full diary of appointments, right? Here are three SUPER SIMPLE ways to engage with your clients and ensure that lashes are their number one priority post lockdown!

1. Send them a simple email or message. Ask them how they’re doing and let them know you’re thinking of them! This is basic customer service and it goes a very long way to build relationships.

You might also want to include a few basic lash care tips in the message or a photo of a lash style you think they might like—either option builds their trust in you as an expert lash artist. And if you’re one of those artists offering strip lashes during the lockdown, this is the best time to let your clients know they can order them!

2. Ask if they would like to join your priority appointment list when you’re ready to open again. This will tell you which customers are serious about their lashes (in case you didn’t already know) and you’ll verbally commit them to book those first open appointments.

You don’t have to make a date—just let them know you’ll contact them FIRST when you start lashing again. They’ll be ready to book the moment you alert them you're open, and they'll also feel pretty special to make that priority list. 🥰 Plus, it will give you some comfort in the coming weeks to know you'll have a list of clients ready for you!

3. Request a review about your business. Most people have a lot more time on their hands right now, so why not put it to good use?

Ask your most loyal clients to leave a review on your business Facebook page or business Google listing. A simple review is so helpful for any business! It helps with SEO, builds loyalty and can bring in more clients. A good review can be the reason someone chooses to book with you or not. You can also share the review on your social media channels which gives you content. 🙌

The clients who love you will be happy to do this and support you, and it will give you another chance to connect with them whilst also working on your business. Win-win!

In summary...
Everyone knows we have several weeks left of the lockdown, but many of us are hoping that some simple parts of our old life could return in the near future—and we certainly hope that includes the lashing part! Connect with your clients now to practice good customer service and to implement a few simple yet effective marketing skills. It will be so worth it when you're back up and running again.
